friendly spot with nine great rooms (that sleep up to five), a few with kitchens and all
with back decks boasting Wallowa views. Nice campsites and RV hookups too.

Indian Lodge Motel MOTEL$

Joseph's only motel, with 16 neat plain rooms and a great downtown location. Off-site
cottages ($119 to $195) also available. Reserve well in advance.

Hurricane Creek Campground CAMPGROUND$
(Mile 7, Hurricane Creek Rd; campsites $6) Campers who don't need many amenities should
try this primitive but beautiful campground about 7 miles south of Enterprise. Bring wa-
ter or a filter.

Bronze Antler B&B B&B$$$

restored arts-and-crafts home offers three elegant rooms, each with private bath, plus one
luxurious suite with steam shower and jets in the tub. There's also a bocce court in the

Chandler's Inn B&B$$$

more of a Western lodge feel than a typical B&B, this casual spot offers eight themed
rooms, including a couple of two-bedroom suites and a cozy cabin. Great mountain
