Roseburg is host to plenty of budget and midrange hotel chains, most just off I-5 on NW
Garden Valley Blvd, or on NE Stephens St.
Rose City Motel MOTEL$
( 541-673-8209; 1142 NE Stephens St; d $60-66; ) A cheap motel on a busy avenue,
but it's a great deal and pride in the place shows - there are plants here and there, and
whimsical touches abound. Kitchenettes are available, and there's a nice little garden in
back.
Hokanson's Guest House B&B$$$
( 541-672-2632; www.hokansonsguesthouse.com ; 848 SE Jackson St; d $115-135; ) Just
three charming rooms are available at this downtown B&B, each with a private bath-
room. The 1882 Victorian is filled with antiques, and a Siamese cat roams the premises
(but not in guest areas unless he's 'invited').
McMenamins Roseburg Station Pub AMERICAN$

style - old-fashioned and tasteful. Typical burgers, sandwiches and salads dominate the
menu. It's in an old train depot; sit and order a microbrew on the sunny patio in summer.
