beachside campground with 130 sites, eight yurts, showers and flush toilets.
Bastendorff Beach County Park CAMPGROUND$

35; ) Two miles southwest of town, just off Cape Arago Hwy, this park has more than
90 pleasant wooded campsites in a developed campground near the beach.
Portside Restaurant AMERICAN$$$

11:30am-11pm) Seafood dominates the menu at this good long-running restaurant, though
there are a few terrestrial choices including chicken, beef and pasta. The best part might
be the great bay view. There's live music in the lounge on weekends.

Bandon

The cute little town of Bandon happily sits at the bay of the Coquille River. Its Old Town
district has been gentrified into a picturesque harborside location that offers pleasant
strolling, window-shopping and sweets-tasting. The area's most noteworthy industry is
cranberry farming, with neighboring bogs yielding a considerable percentage of the cran-
berry harvest in the US. Nearby is a world-class golf resort.
