a good chunk of the 2010 Winter Olympics, including the heart-stopping alpine-
skiing events. Boasting 200 runs, it's one of North America's largest ski areas
(the slopes are open from November to June). But the mountains here aren't just
for snow sports. In summer you can hike, mountain bike, raft and rock climb
among some of the most spectacular scenery in Canada.
