The three main sights are all close to each other and to the cute waterfront. You can buy
combined tickets for all three (adult/child $7/2).
Port Isabel Lighthouse

Isabel Lighthouse was built between 1852 and 1853. A climb up its 70 steps yields great
views of the surrounding area, SPI and the gulf. It is also the source of local tourist info.
HISTORIC BUILDING
Port Isabel Historical Museum

sturdily in 1899 of bricks to resist storms, the home of the history museum served at vari-
ous times as the town's railroad station, post office and general store. You'll find it one
block south of TX 100, near the lighthouse.

Treasures of the Gulf Museum

Sunken treasure! That's the focus of this fun museum which has artifacts from three Span-
ish galleons that went down nearby in 1554. It does a good job of telling the stories of the
hapless crews.
