two miles north of the city center, the largest, George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH;

and worldwide through many carriers, including United. Two inter-terminal train systems
connect passengers to all five terminals. Southeast of town, William P Hobby Airport (HOU;
www.fly2houston.com/hobby ; Airport Blvd, off Broadway or Monroe Sts; ) is a major hub for Southwest
Airlines and for domestic travel. At the time of writing an international expansion wing
was under consideration.

Limited train stops here three times a week en route between New Orleans and Los
Angeles.
Getting Around
Houston is a sprawling metropolis, poorly served by public transportation. You will need
a car. The exception being if you plan to stay in the light rail corridor and only travel
between Downtown, Midtown, the Museum District, the Medical Center and on to Reliant
Park.
