brick buildings with lovely patios and giant outdoor chess games. Brilliant.

Add a killer back patio with a Kool Aid man statue to an arty
interior with vintage pinball games and you get one very cool, dive-y bar. Nice eclectic
crowd, too.

The tall trees along Morningside Dr provide a cool and leafy location for several pub
patios. Start in the 5100 block and wander south. Note that parking is tight in the area.

get more kicked-back than a giant shaded deck with sports on the TVs and so many beers
on tap. The Rice Village Woodrow's attracts a university crowd more than the other loca-
tions (in Midtown and the Heights) do.
