There are several motels on Ave Q just south of US 82. They are close to downtown and a
reasonable 1.3-mile walk southeast to the Depot District. There's another cluster of chains
south of the center at exit 1 off I-27 and still more scattered along TX 289, the ring road
southwest of town.

miles southeast of Lubbock and is big on fun (think ATV trails) as opposed to natural
splendor. Sites vary from basic tent-only ones to those with full hookups.

motel has character. You can lounge around on a large redwood deck surrounding the in-
