tom boots, spurs and other Western gear. Texas legends such as Lyndon Johnson got their
boots here (as did on-screen-cowboy John Wayne). Custom boots start at $600, but with
options (there are many!) you can scoot past $2000 without breaking stride.
Chicken Farm Art Center

than 20 artists create and display their works in studios in this old chicken farm. Many
feather their nest further by also living here.

Concho River, near downtown. A pedestrian bridge links to a groovy kids' playground.
Getting There & Around
Located just a bit west of Texas' geographical center, San Angelo is at the intersection of
US 67, US 87 and US 277. Within town, US 87 becomes Bryant Blvd, which - along with
Chadbourne St - is the city's main north-south road.
