Inn of the Conchos

the northwest edge of downtown US 87, this is an older, modest 125-room motel that is
valiantly hanging on in the face of the chains. Free hot breakfast buffet plus microwaves
and fridges in the rooms are its ammo.

Inn at the Art Center

derstatement for this three-room B&B at the back of the bohemian Chicken Farm Art
Center. Rooms are as artful as you'd expect at a 1970s chicken farm turned artists' co-op.

Sealy Flats Blues Inn

town blues club and diner, this inn is housed in a much-restored historic hotel. The three
suites have names like T-Bone Walker, and blues memorabilia is everywhere. It's very
comfortable and guests enjoy a private terrace for live music at the club on weekends.

Texas produce until it's all gone. The market is held near the fort.

the burgers, and they deliver. Options abound at this traditional drive-in with in-car (or
truck) service. Details such as the thick bacon win raves, as do the breakfasts.
