Ye Kendall Inn

landmark hotel dating from 1859, this is the nicest place to stay in Boerne. The creekside
main house is made of hand-cut limestone and features a two-story, 200ft-long front
porch. The hotel also has three cabins and a small church, all of which date from the
1800s and were relocated to the property from various sites around the state (the stunning
Enchanted Cabin was built near Enchanted Rock).

Bear Moon Bakery & Cafe

breakfast buffet, don't look any further than Bear Moon Bakery & Cafe. On weekends, be
sure to arrive early - it's always packed. There are plenty of home-baked goodies to tempt
you, along with fresh soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch.

early-morning coffee and tea is this cute little spot right on the main strip.
Dodging Duck Brewhaus

mix of Mexican and German fare and homemade beers in an eclectic atmosphere. In addi-
tion to lunch and dinner, it also has plenty of shareable bar snacks.

Po Po Family Restaurant

edge of town, this restaurant serves steaks and seafood - including hard-to-find frog legs -
but the main reason to come here is to see the absolutely astounding collection of souvenir
plates: more than 2000 of them cover almost every inch of wall space.
