This former pharmacy, built in 1938, will cure what ails you with wine, beer
and live music seven nights a week. Grab a seat at the old-fashoned soda fountain and en-

For a taste of Las Vegas in the heart of San Antonio, head to what can
only be described as a kitsch lounge bar. On the weekends Wayne, the owner/singer/gui-
tarist/trumpeter/saxophonist, fronts a three-piece band. On Wednesday and Thursday, the
tables are turned as the audience takes the stage for karaoke night.
Located in a strip mall next to the Avon shop, the only indication of the bar's existence
is a small brass plaque reading ' Martini's ' screwed to the wall next to the entrance.
