of the lower prices; most of these restaurants are just five to 10 minutes from downtown.
The Pearl Complex ( Click here ) has tons of great choices.

noon-6pm Sun) This weird, wonderful place is a restaurant, bar, laundromat and car wash. As
casual as the restaurant is, the food is top-notch, made from organic, sustainably grown
meat and produce. Sure, it's just burgers, tacos and nachos, but they're made with love.
There's even a playground for the kids so you can reward them for all their hard work in
washing your car.

cool, new location in the Pearl Brewery complex. With dishes like enchiladas, eggplant
parmesan and 'neatloaf,' it's the kind of place even a meat-eater can enjoy. Not only is it
100% vegetarian, it's 100% kosher and any meal can be made vegan.
Now, if we could just get them to open up on Saturday…
Chris Madrid's

tostada burgers. Topping a burger with tortilla chips and refried beans sounds weird, but it
works, combining two of our favorite meals into one deliciously unholy alliance. Throw
some jalapeños on for a memorable meal.
