In-Depth Information
Waiheke's two best beaches are
Onetangi
, a long stretch of white sand at the centre of the
island, and
Palm Beach
, a pretty little horseshoe bay between Oneroa and Onetangi. Both
have nudist sections; head west just past some rocks in both cases.
Oneroa
and neighbour-
ing
Little Oneroa
are also excellent, but you'll be sharing the waters with moored yachts in
summer. Reached by an unsealed road through farmland,
Man O' War Bay
is a compact
beach that's excellent for swimming.
