ROCK CLIMBING
MILKA CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL
One of Bludenz' best features can't even be seen. Almost anywhere you wander in the centre, the rich, enticing
aroma of chocolate will fill your nostrils. The source of these divine smells is the Suchard chocolate factory. Un-
fortunately there are no guided tours but you can stock up on Milka at its shop (Fohrenburgstrasse 1;
9am-
noon Mon, to 4.30pm Tue-Fri, to noon Sat).
Bludenz' sweetest event is the Milka Chocolate Festival in July, when 1000kg of Schokolade is up for grabs
in prizes. There's also music, games and plenty of kids too full of sugar to control.
Sleeping
Private rooms usually offer the best value, even though a surcharge of around €3.50 per
day applies for stays under three days.
