at two snowparks.
Toboggan Track
(adult/child €12.50/7) The 7km toboggan track offers a bumpy downhill dash through the
snow from Idalp to Ischgl, which is particularly scenic when floodlit on Monday and
Thursday nights. Toboggans can be hired at the mountain station for €8/4.50 per adult/
child.

Silvretta Mountain Bike Arena
Few Austrian resorts can match Ischgl for mountain biking. The mammoth Silvretta
Mountain Bike Arena features 1000km of bikeable territory, ranging from downhill
tracks to circular trails. Pick up a free map of the area at the tourist office.
For bike rental, try Intersport Bründl ( www.bruendl.at ; Dorfstrasse 64; per day €24-49) or Silvretta Bike
Academy ( www.silvretta-bikeacademy.at ; Paznaunweg 15) , which also offers GPS rental (€25) and ar-
ranges technique training and free-ride day tours costing €40 to €50.
WALKING
Klettersteige
Walking is the other big draw in summer, ranging from gentle lakeside rambles to ambi-
tious scrambling on the Klettersteige at 2872m Greitspitz and 2929m Flimspitze.
