and dominated by Tyrol's highest peak, Wildspitze (3774m), this is one of three river val-
leys running north from the Ötztaler Alpen to drain into the Inn River.

87), which is half-price for children. From mid-June to September, the pass covers public transport and cable
cars in the valley, attractions like Ötzi Dorf, activities from outdoor swimming pools to bike rental, plus one free
entry to Aqua Dome and Area 47.

Ötzi Dorf

museum brings to life the Neolithic world of Ötzi the ice man. A visit takes in traditional
thatched huts, herb gardens, craft displays and enclosures where wild boar and oxen
roam. Multilingual audio guides are available.

Stuibenfall
From Ötzi Dorf, it's a beautiful 20-minute forest walk to Tyrol's longest waterfall, the
wispy Stuibenfall, cascading 159m over slate cliffs and moss-covered boulders. You can
continue for another 40 minutes up to the top viewing platform and hanging bridge. A
thrilling new 450m Klettersteig takes you right over the waterfall; bring your own kara-
biner and helmet.

Ötztaler Alps, this crystalline spa looks otherworldly after dark when its trio of flying-
saucer-shaped pools are strikingly illuminated. And there's certainly something surreal

lazy river or being pummelled by water jets.
