near the train tracks is a mine of information on walking, skiing and adventure activ-
ities in the area. At the other end of Dorfplatz is the post office, with bus stops at the rear.
Getting There & Away
Normal trains to Mayrhofen (€2.70, 10 minutes) and Jenbach (€6.10, 40 minutes) are
cheaper than the steam train. Twice hourly trains to and from Innsbruck (€11.50, 1½
hours) require a change at Jenbach.
Zell am Ziller is the start of the Gerlos Alpine Road.
