FAST TRACK TO THE SALT MINES
All train stations in the region sell the money-saving Salzwelten Hallein Ticket , otherwise known as the Salz
Erlebnis Ticket, which covers a return train journey to Hallein, a bus transfer to Bad Dürrnberg, plus entry to
Salzwelten and the Keltenmuseum. From Salzburg, the ticket costs €29/11 for adults/children.

There are several cheap internet cafes near the train station. A central choice is City Net

bars and cafes offer free wi-fi
MONEY
Bankomaten (ATMs) are ubiquitous. Exchange booths are 24/7 at the airport. There are
also plenty of exchange offices downtown, but beware of potentially high commission
rates.
