Activities
Salzburg's rival mountains are 540m Mönchsberg and 640m Kapuzinerberg - Julie
Andrews and locals who are used to bigger things call them 'hills'. Both are thickly
wooded and criss-crossed by walking trails , with photogenic views of the Altstadt's right
bank and left bank respectively.
There's also an extensive network of cycling routes to explore: from a gentle 20-minute
trundle along the Salzach River to Hellbrunn, to the highly scenic 450km Mozart Rad-
weg through Salzburgerland and Bavaria.
