Hemetsberger

Jul-mid-Sep) does a scheduled run between Obertraun and Hallstatt Markt (€5.50, 25 minutes, four or five times
daily from June to September) and the all- important year-round service between Hallstatt Markt and Hallstatt
train station (€2.40, 10 minutes, 15 times daily). This connects (separate tickets) with trains in both directions. If
you're going to Bad Aussee, your last boat leaves Hallstatt Markt at 5.15pm. Going to Bad Ischl, 6.15pm is your
last boat-train connection.

Bus 543 connects Hallstatt (Lahn) town with Obertraun Dachsteinseilbahn (cable car station; €2.20, nine to 16
minutes) at least eight times daily. Not all buses run to the centre of Obertraun - get off at Obertraun Traun-
brücke in that case.
