tips on the region and will organise accommodation if you call ahead. A useful accom-
modation board and free telephone are situated outside.
Getting There & Around
Every two hours, trains pass through on their way to Graz (€36, 2½ hours) and at least
five times daily to Salzburg (€19, 1½ hours). The Dachsteinstrasse toll road to the gon-
dola costs €6/2.80 per adult/child.
In summer five buses daily leave from Rathausplatz and Lendplatz to Riesachfall
Wilde Wasser (€5.90, 35 minutes), the access point to the Riesachfälle waterfalls and the
lake.
