trian architect Isa Stein has left her avant-garde imprint on the Spitz. The lobby's molded
furnishings and UFO-style lighting set the tone. Each of the hotel's rooms spotlights an
aspect of Linz' burgeoning arts scene, and features bespoke pieces by local creatives.
Minimalism rules here, with clean lines, open-plan bathrooms and hardwood floors, plus
homely perks like DVD players and coffee-making facilities.

neo-Gothic Neuer Dom, this glass-and-concrete cube is a welcome newcomer to Linz'
