trian food in a nicely restored, high-ceilinged interior, with a few tables outside in sum-

Hidden downstairs along Breite Gasse (follow the signs from MUMOK) in the
MuseumsQuartier, Glacis Beisl does an authentic goulash, an accomplished Wiener Sch-
nitzel and some other very decent Austrian classics, which you can wash down with ex-
cellent Austrian reds and whites.

This contemporary lounge-style restaurant is quite the gourmet globe-
trotter, whisking you around the world in mini portions. The inventive tapas-style
concept means you can try dishes like Thai tom yum soup, potato puree with veal
schnitzel, Indian butter chicken and risotto with pesto all in the same sitting. Bartenders
mix up a mean cocktail at the strikingly lit bar.
