Karon Viewpoint
With breathtaking views of Kata Noi, Kata, and
Karon beaches, this famous viewpoint in the
rolling hills of southwestern Phuket is a great
stopover for travelers headed south to Naiharn
Beach or Phromthep Cape. Called khao saam
haad in Thai (literally, hill of three beaches),

Phromthep Cape
At sundown, all eyes face west from this magnificent perch on Phuket's southernmost
tip (For further details see Phromthep Cape ). Romantic and awe-inspiring, the
multi-colored sunsets here attract visitors from all over Phuket. Kaew Yai Island can
be seen off the coast, and you can see as far as Ko Phi Phi from the Phromthep Cape
lighthouse. The atmospheric Phromthep Restaurant overlooks Naiharn Beach.
Windmill Viewpoint
This energy station atop Phuket's southern hills overlooks Naiharn Beach and
provides an opportunity to capture magnificent panoramic photographs of the entire
length of white sand. Home to the Phromthep Alternative Energy Station, Windmill
Viewpoint is less crowded than Phromthep Cape, and both sights can easily be visited
on the same day.
