Trekking
Northern Phuket's most scenic trek navigates through 4 miles (6 km) of jungle trails
in the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park. Guides can be hired at the visitor center near
Bang Pae Waterfall.
Canoeing
Go canoeing in the fantastic mangrove forests and sea caves along Phuket's north-
eastern and northwestern coasts.
Golfing
Some of Phuket's best golf courses can be found on the island's northern half. Mis-
sion Hills, Blue Canyon, and Laguna Phuket each offer picturesque, challenging, and
well-maintained courses.
Snorkeling
There are many opportunities to witness beautiful underwater coral formations and
colorful schools of fish in and around Phuket. In winter, the clear waters off Surin,
Nai Yang, and Nai Thon make for great dives.
