Windsor Hotel
( 719-657-9031; http://windsorhoteldelnorte.com ; 605 Grand Ave; r from $165; ) This landmark 1874
hotel has been lovingly restored, from the original color schemes all the way down to the
hardwood floors. The 22 rooms are simple but cozy, and the ground-floor restaurant
(mains $8 to $22) is the nicest dining option west of Alamosa, with specialties such as
pan-seared rainbow trout and goat's cheese polenta.

Boogie's Restaurant
( www.boogiesdelnorte.com ; 410 Grand Ave; mains $8-12; 6am-7pm Thu-Tue, 6am-2pm Wed; ) Del Norte's
greasy spoon has a menu that's all over the place (Tex Mex, burgers, salads) but it's the
local fave and the portions are big.

Drinking & Nightlife
Three Barrel Brewery
( www.threebarrelbrew.com ; 586 Columbia Ave; 10:30am-9pm Tue-Sat, 3-9pm Sun & Mon) Welcome to one
of Colorado's smallest breweries. It produces only 350 barrels of beer from the nondes-
cript brick building just a block off the main drag. But it's damn good beer. The 'just one
more' inclination inspired by brews such Pemba Sherpa or Black Yak might be the best
reason to spend the night in town.
