farm with pick-your-own lavender from its gorgeous fields. The lavender eye pillows
make great gifts. It also sells bags of juicy cherries and heirloom tomatoes. The farm is
generous about sharing growing tips with do-it-yourselfers.

US, where over 100 wild horses get the run of some 30,000 acres of craggy canyons and
plateaus. To catch a glimpse of them, get ready for the grueling 10ΒΌ-mile Tellerico Loop,
which rises 2300ft from the canyon floor to the top of the Bookcliffs.

family-operated outfit. They grow fruit so succulent the juice dribbles down your chin.
The tractor tours are a fun way for families to get out into the fields and the on-site store
stocks yummy peach salsa.

restaurants, Colterris sits in a league of its own - a sip of its earthy, balanced Cabernet
Sauvignon confirms. The inviting tasting patio has cheese with wine pairings and a gener-

hour tour takes you from the vines to the packing shed, with beautiful river views.
