decked in trophy mounts near Hotchkiss.
Sleeping
Frankly, Delta isn't so pretty, but its location makes it a likely stopover. You won't have
trouble spotting any number of mid-century roadside motels along the central corridor. It's
not an easy choice, since none of them are too nice.
Eating
El Tapatio

booths are ornately carved, and the plates of Mexican food are moderately priced and deli-
cious. Lunch deals, like the green chili and cheese smothered enchiladas Suizas are both
filling and satisfying. Pair them with aguas frescas (fresh fruit drinks).

Tru Vu Drive-In

dusk falls on Delta, this historic drive-in has a magical atmosphere. It is one of the few re-
maining such facilities in Colorado, and there are only a handful in the entire USA. Check
