tour company offers fly-fishing, river-rafting and hunting trips. It has a hunting lodge be-
decked in trophy mounts near Hotchkiss.
Sleeping
Frankly, Delta isn't so pretty, but its location makes it a likely stopover. You won't have
trouble spotting any number of mid-century roadside motels along the central corridor. It's
not an easy choice, since none of them are too nice.

booths are ornately carved, and the plates of Mexican food are moderately priced and deli-
cious. Lunch deals, like the green chili and cheese smothered

Tru Vu Drive-In

When the evening air is warm and
dusk falls on Delta, this historic drive-in has a magical atmosphere. It is one of the few re-
maining such facilities in Colorado, and there are only a handful in the entire USA. Check
