LOCAL FARMERS MARKETS
The Central Colorado Foodshed Alliance (CCFA; http://ccfa.coop ) runs farmers markets from June through
mid-October in Salida (8am to 12.30pm Saturday), Buena Vista (9am to 1pm Sunday) and CaƱon City (9am to
1:30pm Saturday). They're a great resource for finding out more about where to find locally grown food in Cent-
ral Colorado. See the website for details.

Cafe Dawn
CAFE

puccino and raspberry scone. This great community cafe is run by Phillip and Dawn out
of a former Volkswagen repair shop, and features organic beans, local ingredients in the
lunch menu and damn good lattes. Phillip has also written two local guidebooks (climbing
and mountain biking), which you can find here. Cash only.
Boathouse Cantina
(228 N F St; 11am-10pm; ) If you can snag a table by the river, this is a pretty sweet spot.
It's got 20 craft beers on tap, including local brew Elevation. The buffalo chili and fish ta-
cos ain't bad either.
