The original Colorado link in Matsuhisa Nobu's iconic global chain that now wraps
around the world. This converted house is more intimate than the Vail sibling and still
turns out spectacular dishes such as miso black cod, Chilean sea bass with truffle, and fla-
vorful uni (sea urchin) shooters.

Helmed by Florentine chef Eddie Baida and NYC transplant Michael Gurtman, the
shack specializes in - you guessed it - fettuccine and meatballs (nonna's, chicken or veal).
It's quite the happening place come evening, but forget about the scene for a minute and
concentrate on what's on your plate: those locally sourced ingredients definitely make a
difference.
For lunch you'll have to settle for one of the meatball parmigianas, but come dinner
you can order up the good stuff, along with tempting starters like truffle bruschetta or the
buratta du jour .

brunch) Jimmy's is a soulful tequila bar and steakhouse with attitude that attracts a very A-
list crowd. Settle into a booth and check out the guest graffiti on the wall in the main din-
ing room, or skip the high-priced grill and try to wrangle a spot at the perpetually packed
bar, which serves a cheaper menu and 105 types of tequila and mescal.

A local darling and winner of several awards, this 2nd-floor patio is the best spot for a
leisurely gourmet brunch (think lobster Benedict or wild morel omelet). This isn't show
food - the chef-owners are committed to quality, down to curing their own meats.
