here, though it is pricey - check out www.rentskis.com for discounts. It has bikes in the
summer too and a Vail Pass shuttle ($54). Locations throughout the resort, including
slopeside in winter.
Alpine Quest Sports

backcountry adventure kayaking resource with gear, rentals and a full kayak school with
beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. It also outfits rock- and ice-climbers with
gear and tips, and has telemark skis and snowshoes for rent. It's located in Edwards, west
of Vail.

and backcountry skiing tours in winter and climbing trips in summer. It also hosts a vari-
ety of classes and Wilderness First Responder certification courses.
