In-Depth Information
All properties are rated from 2-Peak to 5-Peak. The rating system corresponds to price,
but also to property management. Two- and 3-Peak are the cheapest, and their owners can
decorate these condos any way they want, which may be why you're waking up next to a
picture of someone's Aunt Edna on the nightstand. They also tend to be more dated. A
4-Peak rating means the condos are almost always more standardized with features such
as granite counters and flatscreens. The nicest are the 5-Peak properties, which have all
been recently remodeled and can get downright lavish. There are no studios available.
If you book through Copper Mountain Lodging, check-in is at the Athletic Club, which
you'll be able to use. It has an indoor lap pool, spa and gym.
Eating
Eating and drinking options here are pretty limited. For a night out, your best bet is to
head over to Frisco.
Endo's Adrenaline Cafe
(209 Ten Mile Circle; mains $11-14; 8am-10pm; ) A laid-back but still hard-rocking place on the
main village plaza. It has kayaks dangling from the ceiling, and snowboarding stills and
flatscreen TVs decorate the walls. The menu is mostly sandwiches and wraps, but it does
have a few departures from the usual fare, such as beef samosas and green bean fries
served with mango salsa.

Incline Bar & Grill
( www.inclinegrill.com ; Copper Mountain Village; lunch $10-16, dinner $14-31; 11am-9pm; ) Set stra-
tegically at the base of Copper Mountain, steps from the American Eagle lift, this bar and
grill has a roomy interior, a patio with tables overlooking the slopes, an open-minded and
ambitious menu (try the goat cheese and roasted vegetable lasagna or the seared salmon
dusted with Indian spices served with a smoked gouda potato cake) and more than a few
earthy microbrews on tap.
