All the usual activities are on offer in summer: there's a climbing wall, mini-
ature golf and even a go-cart race track. The American Eagle lift (10am to 4pm) leaves
you at Solitude Station, where you can have a BBQ lunch and take one of the two nature
or hiking trails available. The chairlift is free, provided you've already spent $10 at the re-
sort.
The Hallelujah Loop is a short nature trail, or take Andy's Encore to the alpine over-
look then continue cross-country through some loose scree fields to Copper Peak
(12,441ft), before hiking back down. You can haul a mountain bike up and ride down all
day long for $15.

the site of free summer concerts on Friday evenings, followed by movies projected onto a
