mote ski destination, where tourism has developed at an easygoing pace. Unless you arrive
by plane, it's no easy feat to get here, but you're also unlikely to want to leave. Situated in
the heart of the rugged San Juans, the village is snuggled into an isolated box canyon and
surrounded by peaks unspoiled by over development. Out of season, Telluride also throws
some of Colorado's best festivals, with banner events celebrating film and bluegrass.
