This pub and grill is a place to soak up Estes Park local flavor, mostly through the side-
long glances of the good ol' boys at the bar and boozy karaoke crooners. The menu -
mostly burgers and American pub basics - includes Rocky Mountain Oysters, otherwise
known as bull balls.
Estes Park Brewery

; 470 Prospect Village Dr; mains $8-12; 11am-2am; )
Ain't noth-
ing fancy about this brewpub - it dishes out pizza, wings and house beer in a big, boxy
room that's a cross between a classroom and a country kitchen. Nothing gourmet, but pool
tables and outdoor seating keep the place popping until late.
Those who are a bit indecisive can head downstairs to the tasting room before taking
home a growler. Our favorites are the refreshing bright lager and the Stinger.

Rock Inn Mountain Tavern

;
1675 Hwy 66; mains $14-29; 11am-2am; )
After a few
days in the wilds of Rocky Mountain National Park, the rare porterhouse here seems
heaven-sent (even if the country band on stage can't pass as the accompanying choir of
angels). Excellent stick-to-the-ribs fare and a crackling fire make it ideal for hikers look-
ing to indulge.

Park Theatre

This 1913 historic landmark is still a great place to catch a movie.
