Denver's neighborhoods have taken on a life of their own with the Mile High City's
youth-oriented focus on urban living. Highlands has one of Denver's best collections of
start-up restaurants and a handful of luminary bars. Lower Downtown (LoDo) has higher-
end restaurants and jock bars, while the central Santa Fe, Five Points and River North
(RiNo) arts districts have street art and a palpable and studied hipster-grunge vibe. Tonier
neighborhoods with highly strollable shopping and restaurant areas include Washington
Park, Cherry Creek and South Pearl Street.
