Sat; ) Seated in a strip mall right at the edge of the park, this locally owned sandwich
shop gets a lot of lip service for the Philly cheesesteak and French dip subs. All of them
come on locally baked bread rolls.
Morrison Inn

drugstore and soda fountain turned Mexican restaurant-bar pours formidable margaritas
and dishes out passable Mex standards and hand-cut fries. The rooftop seating is great
when it's warm, and historic photos of early Morrison line the restaurant walls.

This Colorado institution has been around since 1963 and is the best spot in the state to try
Rocky Mountain oysters. The wild game and buffalo dishes are out of this world, as is the
well-thought Western ambience in the rugged Southwestern fort perched on the foothills
above Denver.
