LIGHT RAIL
RTD's light-rail line currently has six lines, which service 46 stations.
The W Line runs from Union Station, past the Pepsi Center and Mile High Stadium to
the Jefferson County Government Center on the outskirts of Golden.
The C Line runs along the eastern edge of downtown, continuing south to Englewood
and Littleton, ending on Santa Fe and Mineral Sts. The D Line starts at 30th and Downing
in Five Points, going straight through the city to hook up with the southern run of the C
Line to Littleton.
The E and F lines run from either Union Station or 18th and California south along I-25
to the Denver Tech Center, ending at Lincoln Ave. The H Line from 18th and California
will take you to Nine Mile, where you could potentially walk or bike to Cherry Creek
Reservoir.
Fares are $2.25 for one to two stops, $4 for three fare zones, and $5 for all zones. Bikes
may be taken on the train if there is space. You purchase tickets from automated kiosks
before boarding. Occasional ticket checkers pass through the trains to validate your tick-
ets.
