Such general conclusions are influenced by many factors, among which the type
of energy appliances and the type of heating/cooling system installed in the house.
However it is clear that the presence of BAC and TBM systems influences the
energy performance class and should thus affect the energy certification process as
well as the market value of buildings.
Also the application of passive measures can improve highly the energy effi-
ciency class of the house but with very high costs and higher PBPs.
