Construction of the daily load profile
In Fig. 6.3 an example of the process of construction of the daily power profile
implemented by SirSym-Home 3 is represented.
In the example proposed, the rectangles drawn with dotted lines represent the
times at which the three loads are switched on during the 24 h of a typical day.
These switching times are determined through a Monte Carlo extraction process
considering the usage probability distributions of the three loads.
The shapes drawn in magenta, blue and green in the first three graphs represent
the load profiles. The fourth graph represents the total daily load profile given by
the superposition of the three single load profiles.
6.4
Economic Analysis
BACS and TBM systems are still unknown to the most part of the residential users.
The limited commercial widespread of these systems is one of the most important
reasons for their very high purchase and installation costs.

consumption diagrams for residential uses and automated loads control.
