NIGHTLIFE
1. LE COLONIAL
People flock here for the cuisine, the live music, or to sit in the lounge for tea or
cocktails. Live swing, jazz, and blues bands entertain guests Monday to Thursday, in-
cluding the very popular Martini Brothers Band. Head to the club upstairs on Friday
and Saturday nights as the DJ spins house tracks to a crowded dance floor from
9:30pm-2am. Situated just off Union Square, the location can't be beat.

2. MIGHTY
One of the few San Francisco venues large enough to be considered a proper dance
club, Mighty is well-known for hip-hop shows and international house DJs. It is be-
loved by clubgoers for its great variety of music, its size, and its revolving art collec-

4. BOTTOM OF THE HILL
Open seven days a week, this is one of the best live-music venues in a city renowned
for its live music. Even though Bottom of the Hill has a definite punk vibe, you are just
as likely to hear a folk music act playing as a hardcore punk band. If you don't care for
the music, just head to the back where you can grab a table out of earshot.
