TIP
If you use a Windows computer and you have an iPhone, an iPod Touch, or an iPad, Ele-
ments makes it easy to share photos from your iDevice. If you used your iPhone to take
pictures and you want to get them into Elements or if you're using your iPod, iPhone, or
iPad to move photos from another device to your computer, just connect your iDevice to
the computer and then use the Photo Downloader ( The Photo Downloader ) to send them
straight to the Organizer, or download them via Windows Explorer and then go to the Or-
ganizer and choose File→Get Photos to bring them into Elements. Even better, if you've
signed up for Apple's free iCloud service ( www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html ), your
Pictures/My Pictures folder should contain a folder called Photo Stream. Your iDevice
photos appear there automatically, and you can set that as a watched folder (see the Tip on
Tip ) for the Organizer, too, so your photos go directly into Elements.
To send photos or albums to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad, either to show them off to your
friends or to transport them to another device or computer, if you use iCloud, just put
them in your Photostream folder. If not, connect the iDevice to your computer, and then
go to iTunes→Photos→“Sync photos from”→Photoshop Elements.
If you use a Mac, the best way to move photos back and forth between your iDevices and
computers is still via iPhoto/iTunes, if you don't use iCloud or Adobe Revel. Elements al-
bums aren't recognized by the Mac version of iTunes the way they are in the Windows
version.
