Figure 15-10. Using the Graphics panel is super simple. Just use the left-hand menu to
choose how you want to search, and then use the right-hand menu to refine your choice.
Here you see the results of choosing By Type and Graphics, respectively. Notice that most
of the thumbnails pictured here have a tiny blue banner at their upper-right corner. The
first time you use a graphic marked with that banner, Elements has to download it, so you'll
need an Internet connection. Happily, after Elements has downloaded that object once, it
stores it on your computer so it's always available, whether you're online or not.
If you hate a particular item in the panel and want it gone forever, right-click/Control-
click it and choose Delete Graphics. (Logically enough, this option is grayed out for
online items that you haven't yet downloaded.)
If that method seems like it requires a lot of navigation to find what you want, check out the
Favorites panel (described next) for a faster way to reach Graphics panel items you use a lot.
