Figure 10-7. The easiest way to create a monochrome color scheme is to use the Photographic Ef-
fects layer styles, which are explained in Chapter 13. This image had the Red Tone style applied to
the original color photo. Elements removed the existing color and recolored the image in one click.
The downside to this method is that you can't edit the color once you're done if you later decide
you'd rather have, say, blue.
TIP
For a more subtle effect, you can use Photo Filters, described on Photo Filter . The Effects
section of the Effects panel ( Effects ) also has some terrific monotone tint effects.
