Figure 10-2. Depending on which method you use, uncoloring a photo can generate very dif-
ferent results. Top: Each of these rabbits has a pure color value of 255. In other words, you're
looking at rabbits that are 100 percent blue, green, and red, with zero as the value for the oth-
er two color channels. Middle: The same images with their color modes converted to grayscale
(Image→Mode→Grayscale). Bottom: Using the Remove Color command gives you quite dif-
ferent results.
