Figure 9-14. When you first open the Adjust Color Curves dialog box, the graph on the
right shows a straight, diagonal line. Any changes you make cause the points on the graph
to move, resulting in a curve. To go back to the straight line, click Reset (not shown) or
choose Default in the “Select a Style” list. Top: The Windows version of Adjust Color
Curves. The straight line disappears after you start adjusting things and you only see the
resulting curve. Bottom: The Mac version continues to show the straight diagonal line in
addition to the curved one after you adjust your settings.
6. When you're happy with the photo's new look, click OK .
Don't forget to save your changes. If you used a duplicate layer, you can always
change your mind later on and start over with a fresh layer.
