Curves, in its original-strength Photoshop version, is a pretty complicated tool, so Adobe
makes it easier to use in Elements. You start with a group of preset adjustments to choose
from (see Figure 9-13 ). These presets are shortcuts to the types of basic enhancements you'll
use most often; just click one to try it. If you like what it does, you're done. If you aren't sat-
isfied with any of the presets, you can easily make changes using the Adjust Color Curves
dialog box's sliders.
