Can you tell which is which? Nope. They all look exactly the same on your monitor because they all
have exactly the same pixel dimensions, which is the only resolution setting your monitor under-
stands. In other words, monitors don't care about images' ppi settings.
What dimensions should you use? That depends on who's going to see your photos, but as a
general rule, small monitors today are usually 1024 pixels wide by 768 pixels high, although
netbook screens can be quite a bit smaller than that. And some monitors, like the largest Dell
and Apple models, have many more pixels than that, while smartphone screens are all over
the place in terms of pixel dimensions.
