best tours; tours run by individual companies can usually be booked at any HKTB branch

Secret Hong Kong Tour ( www.secrettourhk.com ) organises tours to less touristy parts of the
territory.
Hong Kong Dolphinwatch ( 2984 1414; www.hkdolphinwatch.com ) offers four-hour dolphin-
spotting expeditions departing at 8.50am from Kowloon Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui every
Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Star Ferry Harbour Tour ( 2118 6201; www.starferry.com.hk/tour ) is the easiest way to see the
full extent of Victoria Harbour from sea level; most depart from the Star Ferry Pier in
Tsim Sha Tsui (B4).
Kayak & Hike ( 9300 5197; www.kayak-and-hike.com ) takes you in a junk to a kayak base near
Bluff Island, from where you will paddle to a beach to enjoy swimming and snorkelling.
Departs at 8.45am from Sai Kung old pier ($700, seven hours).
Sky Bird Travel ( 2736 2282; www.skybird.com.hk ) will teach you about taichi, feng shui and
Chinese tea on a four-hour tour ($298), departing at 7.30am from the Excelsior Hong
Kong Hotel in Causeway Bay and at 7.45am from the Salisbury YMCA in Tsim Sha Tsui
every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
